The mail station rehabilitation project is one of the many tasks that the General Services staff has taken on. Each mail station is handcrafted in our woodshop and installed by one General Services staff.

First, the project was delayed for roughly one year due to COVID-19. It was again delayed when lumber prices more than tripled. It is moving more slowly than expected because lumber prices are still above the pre-COVID amounts budgeted when the project was planned.
